Localização: LisboaDescrição:Work plan: The work to be developed will be focused on the development and implementation of advanced new compressive sensing techniques for hyperspectral imagery in graphics computing units (GPUs).Legislation and regulations applicable: A fellowship will be celebrated according to the regulations defined by FCT ”Regulation of Advanced Training and Qualification of Human Resources”, in accordance with Law no. 40/2004, dated August 18 (Status of Scientific Research Fellow), as amended and republished by Decree-Law No.202/2012 of 27 August, and as amended by Decree-Law No.233/2012 of 29 October and by Law No.12/2013 of January 29, and Decree-Law No. 89/2013 of 9 July, Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. Fellowship Regulation of 2013.

www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt );Place of work: The work will be developed at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, pólo de Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor José Nascimento and Professor José Bioucas-Dias.Grant duration: 12 months, estimated beginning date on 2 st January 2015.Value for monthly allowance: 1495 Eur per month, according to table values of the scholarships awarded directly by the FCT, in the country (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).
The payment will be made by bank transfer.Selection methods: Selection of the candidates will be performed by evaluation of the submitted documents (namely CV with information of grade point average and with a reference to publications and other scientific achievements) and if necessary an interview.
The applicant must have a PhD degree/level qualification in Electrical Engineer or in Information Systems and Computer Engineering. K nowledge and previous experience in hyperspectral image processing, MatLab, C programming Language, GPU programming, and good command of English will be valued.Jury: Prof. Dr. Jose Nascimento , Prof. Dr. Jose Bioucas-Dias, Prof. Dr. Vitor Dias.Notification of results: Results will be published at the Instituto de Telecomunicações.
