Instituto de Medicina Molecular opens a call for a Postdoc Fellowship, financed by FCT / MEC under the HMSP – ICT /0001/2011 research project, entitled “Induction of Immune Tolerance in Human Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation”.Work Plan and Description
- Flow cytometry assessment of lymphocyte reconstitution following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation ( HSCT ).
- Evaluation of regulatory T cell (Treg) phenotype and functional ability following HSCT .
- Correlation of Treg homeostasis with the emergence of acute and chronic graft versus host disease.
- Optimization of protocols for the purification and in vitro expansion of Treg cells.Scientific Area: ImmunologyProfile of Candidate
- PhD in Immunology or in a related area.
- Expertise in flow cytometry data acquisition and analysis.
- Experience with in vitro T cell cultures.Duration
3 months on an exclusive basis according to Law nr 40/2004, from August 18th Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação, republished in attach to Decreto-Lei nr 202/2012, from August 27th ( http://www.fct.mctes.pt/pt/apoios/bolsas/estatutodobolseiro ) and Regulation of Fellowships of Instituto de Medicina Molecular ( IMM ). The work will be developed at IMM under the supervision of Prof. Doutor João Lacerda.Fellow Monitoring Centre
The monitoring centre works on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 12pm, at Management Unit of IMM .Remuneration
Monthly remuneration according with the values stipulated in the Regulation of Fellowships of IMM – 1495€.Necessary Documents for Applications
